Goal

The goal of The Refuge was to provide a place of rest, recovery, and connection for young activists attending COP15. In order to effectively reach and engage this audience, bilingual marketing materials and a website were needed to promote the events and services offered by The Refuge and communicate its welcoming and cozy brand.

Solution

To achieve this goal, an accessible website was created that shared information about The Refuge's purpose, events, and other offerings in a clear and concise design. The website included an illustrated events calendar for the two-week conference, important accessibility information, and registration links. In addition, a language toggle allowed users to easily switch between languages.

Another deliverable was leading the social media marketing campaign for The Refuge, creating bilingual posts and social media copy to drive event registration and reach a wider audience. Print marketing materials were also developed for wayfinding and promotion on-site.

Overall, the deliverables were valuable tools for promoting The Refuge's offerings and improving the mental health of young activists throughout COP15.
